Cosplay Keyblade Project [Updated]
If any of you are true Kingdom Hearts fans, you'll appreciate this project we've come up with.
We've decided to make a Keyblade, no, not one of those hand-me-down knock off's people attempt at making, a REALISTIC Keyblade. Sure, you can't really make a REAL Keyblade, but we're shooting for just about as close as you can get.
Short of being made of metal, this thing will be the real deal, or close to it anyways. Heres the thing, we DARE you to go on Ebay or any other site and try to find a Keyblade Replica, not the Oblivion or Oathkeeper, the Kingdom Key, the way the Keyblade was MEANT to look!
The picture to your left is the original 3-D model, can you find ANYTHING close to that? Let us answer that for you...NO! However WE are attempting to make almost EXACTLY what you see in that picture.
Here, we have proof!
Update: The bottom three pictures are mock ups (and the actual finished blueprint) for a new keyblade I, myself designed for my friend, Fortune Cookie. This keyblade, as you can see, was designed to mimic parts of the Kingdom Hearts 2 logo. We will build this blade and finnish my Kingdom Key simultaneously and even order costumes to complete a full cosplay of Sora (me), Roxas (Cookie) and Kairi (his girlfriend, Kat.) We'll keep you posted on the results!

Now, keep in mind that the current hilt you see on the Keyblade is NOT the actual peice (and all the ductape holding it all together is temporary as well). We wanted to show this baby in the works off for halloween last year, but did'nt have the hild done (as we still don't) so we threw together a quick on to serve the purpose made out of about 4 layers od cardboard on each side, covered in white ductape. HOWEVER it is a farily good example of what the hilt WILL look like once it's carved out of wood, just like the teeth section of the key is. Then the entire thing will be cemented together, painted and glossed for a really nice finnished product. We hope you guys look forward to th result as much as we do!
